31.05.2023 Back at the Eco Village

We got up early and started heading towards the eco village with a group of 8 people.

My arms were hurting a lot from yesterday, it definitly wasn't the best idea to try a new workout right before we actually go and do some physical work.

We kept working on the path from last time, thankfully we didn't have to move any pallets. We just had to fill all the gaps with wooden beams, saw and screw them into position to turn it into a nice walkway.

We were very lucky with the weather this time. Not a drop of rain just sunshine.

And we could also enjoy a very nice lasagne.

We were out working until the last screw was gone, which sadly meant that we couldn't finish the path all the way.

But me and felix will return with the second group on friday so we will probably manage to finish it then.

Back home it was mine and Ben's turn to cook a "UK" and "Swiss" dinner for a everybody. Now we both aren't really experts on national dishes. 

But we wanted to make sure that it would be enough for everyone and of course tasty.

So we decided to make a vegetable&pasta loaf with a lot of cheese on top of it. Which might be one of the best dishes that I have ever cooked because it turned out very well and everyone enjoyed it.

Also we had a lot of food left, like really a lot.

We then quickly cleaned up and went to the nearby hottubs to relax. The hottubs here are a lot nicer than the first one's that we visited.

A lot bigger and also a lot of icelandic people just started talking to us and asking where we were from, which was really nice.

In the evening everybody was quite tired, we played a few games but quickly went to sleep for today.

Tomorrow we have our golden circle excursion.
