29.08.2018 7days in townsville

                         A day off

Today I had nothing to do, which was a nice change of pace. So of course I decided to do something. After some breakfast I went to castle hill, though the "hill" was just a few meters short of a mountain and my legs soon started to hurt. Walking around magnetic island, then diving two days in a row and now castle hill. Definitly different from sitting in the office or at home all day.

Castle hill had a very good view of townsville. And even free wifi. Because everything in australia has free wifi. Buses, trains, ferry's and every restaurant or shopping center aswell.

After that I wanted to go to beach but on the way there I came passed a botanical garden park. So I spent some time there, reading and laying in the grass. Later some girl walked around in the park ans started making weird sounds and singing some songs. First I tried to ignore her but she wouldnt stop, so I packed my things and went to a different part of the park. 

After some time a man in suit and tie came over and was just kind of standing a few meters away from me. Than a few women in dresses showed up. But only when a man in suit and a women in a long white dress showed up I realised that there was a wedding here and they wanted to take some pictures on this lawn. So before I ended up on the wedding album I packed my things again.

At my third location it was quite for a little bit longer, until a few children showed up and started running and screaming around. This park clearly didnt want me here, so I started heading back.

After eating one of my fascinating and professionaly cooked microwave meals I went to the empire arcade. 

I played some more halo and joined a few rounds whenever some people came over to play aswell. Though I wasnt really making friends this way. As my favorite game I've been playing halo for quite some time so I got pretty good at it. And so I was mostly dominating the other players in the game and not all of them wanted to be friends after that.

I hope to get in contact with the billabong sanctuary tomorrow. So I can plan everything for next week. Other than that I havent got anything planned.
