24.04.2023 Child care project

I was happy going to work again this morning. Just building some legos, spending time with the kids. It's a fun job.

I am glad that I am staying longer here than just a month.

We picked up the kids from school again and I actually met one of the guys from badminton who was picking up his son. I told him that I would challenge him again tomorrow evening.

I also took care of cayton again today since it worked quite well with him the first time. And again he was just a super sweet child and no trouble at all.

But they did tell me that it depends a lot on the day and he does sometimes have these moments of anger. One time he was suspended from school because he destroyed a classroom by throwing over chairs and tables.

So that may still happen.

The day went by fast, when we got back home we met yet another volunteer who was staying with the Phelans. Also a Hannah from Germany and she is going to the same project as the other hannah.

So now we have 5 volunteers in the house. Jade and hannah now have to share a room.

After dinner we went to the pub to watch the "jam session" that happens every monday. It's just a few people playing all together and singing songs, which was nice.

Tomorrow evening we will be able to play badminton again.
