It is sometimes unreal how beautiful Iceland is. We went to see more spots and we came to a waterfall that was already looking fantastic and you could also go behind it.
Then the sun came out and a rainbow started forming at the base of the waterfall. It looked like a picture you would find on google that has just been edited to look good but is totally fake.
We also went to another black beach that had very unnatural looking rock formations. But that is just how the rocks were shapped by the water.
We visited many more waterfalls, sadly the sun only stayed for a short while.
We also went to see a melting glacier where you could hear the many waterdrops from the melting ice when you got closer.
Though still a lot of people were climbing and walking on it. Some of the SEED volunteers that had been here before also told us how much further the glacier used to go.
The final stop was a tall waterfall that was hidden behind a gap in the mountainside. It was a bit difficult to get there but definitly worth it.
Then we started heading back home.
After dinner we went to bed early since tomorrow we're going to the eco village to actually work outside. Just like it said on the website.
