This morning the kitchen, once again was not open. And it still wasnt open after 15min, or 30, or 45minutes. Until at 7am the same guy still half asleep unlocked the door. Though since kim could be here any second I had to skip breakfast.

On our way to the sanctuary we did stop at the gas station and I got myself a blueberry muffin. Its something..... and atleast nobody threw away my cornflakes this time.

The morning started with raking and cleaning and also me trying to get pictures from the staff members without them noticing since my parents asked for it.

Ash wasnt in a good mood today, the problem wasnt to get him off the branch, he didnt even want to leave his enclosure. Though one of the volunteers, after 4 of the rangers failed, was able to get him out.

I did a bunch of dishes, then I helped out with the reptile show, though I wasnt able to do much since the other volunteers were already there aswell.

Since timmi is getting more and more active we now made him his own little enclosure for the day.

For lunch we sadly only had sandwiches today.

The afternoon was rather calm. I watched the bird show and then helped out Dave and kim with their jobs. Which was pretty cool since they went around to feed all the crocodiles, snakes and lizards. The crocodiles were espacially cool and frightening to watch how they swallowed down their food.

With the help of one of the rangers who ash also didnt like, I was able to get him down and back into his enclosure.

Kim ended a bit earlier today since she was going on vacation. So tomorrow dave is going to pick me up. Hopefully. We drove back and said our goodbies. It went by a lot faster then expected. 3weeks is really not that long.

Even though I gotta volunteer tomorrow I wanted to go to the university to play another round of D&D. So I rushed my showering and dinner to get on the next bus and head towards the uni.

After 45minutes I got out by the stop and ran towards the building since I was already rather late. Though when I came in nobody was in any of the 11a/b/c/d/e/f rooms. So I waited for a bit until I saw them walking in a bit discouraged. They told me that they just got kicked out of the room they were playing in and were looking for another one.

After a not very long search they kind of gave up and decided to just continue next week. I tried to persuade some into a card game that I had with me but since this was just one of many evenings for them they werent really enthusiastic.

I said my goodbye to brandon who had just kind of walked away. Wished him the best with the rest of the campaign and his studies. I wanted to say bye to the others aswell but they had already left. Nerds can be weird sometimes.....and socially awkward.

So I headed back, I had a bunch of things to pack up for my journey on wednesday and the rest had to go into my big backpack since I was checking out of the room while I was in cairns. During that time I can just place my luggage in the lockerroom
