Christmas?
We started with lions today. From the elephantd we collected some dung and I had to honor to rub it on a hard plastic ball. Lions actually enjoy the smell of elephant dung so we gave them a little shit present.
I threw the ball over the fence and to my surprise they actually went for it. All three of them enjoyed it to lick and rub against the ball. Nature is weird.
Then we did the elephant enclosure which was a complete mess today and took us forever to clean.
After that we headed towards the school. A bunch of guests brought presents for the kids and we were going to deliver them. So we got some fancy hats and a car filled with presents.
The kids all sat down while we went around and gave each of them a little gift, filled with toys, snacks and some more usefull stuff like a toothbrush.
The kids were a bit unsure since they aren't used to getting presents but they all enjoyed it.
Then they brought their presents inside and started playing on the little playground. I started with annoying one kid on the bridge, trying to grab her shoes. Then a second one and from their it escalated.
I stole shoes and threw them back to the kids one the bridge then I started to chase one that was holding a shoe and all started to show me their shoes and running away. I tickled and lifted them from the ground which the other kids now alm wanted to do aswell. So I ran away...
I am used to about 8kids versus me from the cevi but here... I was hopelessly outnumbered. Soon I was thrown to the ground and attacked from all sides. Without any sign of victory I called for lea but she just toon pictures.
So after a while when I managed to calm down the kids a bit I pointed over to lea and yelled: "Her!!!" The kids were hestating so I went first and with the kids we brought her to the ground.
Now I was taking pictures.
We played with them some more and then said goodbye. Back at our tent for lunch, the giant tortoise was still there, it started to rain.
So Mariné picked us up, we did the elephant food and started cutting meat.
Lea got tasked with cleaning the meat freezer that had lost a lot of freeze and blood because of the power going out.
Me and Mariné cut piece after piece, towards the later afternoon we finally finished and checkes on lea. Since all the meat inside was constantly dripping blood the freezer was never getting clean anyway.
Also lea seemed to be more covered in blood then the freezer itself.
So we helped to finish everything just before a big rain storm hit. With lighting and thunder and wind and everything. So we drove back all in the front row and me and lea jumped out of the car when we reached the tents.
It was a wild shower, the water wasnt too cold but the wind kept pushing it away and the rain inside the shower.
We had too quickly warm up our food before they turned off the power for about 2hours.
Me and lea talked for a while and then went to bed. It had stopped to rain but it was still cold.
