First days at work and the weekend in Dublin

On Monday I started working at the HPe company. The day started with signing the contract of employment and continued with introduction given bei the HR department. During the following days we received development training, especially in technical skills. We learned to know how to troubleshoot several problems, for example network issues or printer issues. It was very hard for me, because I hadn't had an IT background and because of the new language. Altogether, it was very interesting and I learned a lot of new things. I am very happy and looking forward to the next week. In the next week I will receive a special desk training. In addition to work I started going to the football training, which was pretty nice. On friday I went to some pubs with my new collegues Paul und Herman. They are from Ireland and Sweden. The other guys, who are staying at our home too, joined us in the late evening. We had lot's of fun and several good discussions.

Yesterday I went to Dublin to meet Mayra, who is the family Clissmanns new au pair, and the other German au pairs from Arklow. Herman joined us later. Then we went to a Pub, where I tried my first Irish Coffee. It's Coffee and Whiskey and it tastes very well. Afterwards we went to an restaurant at Temple Bar for dinner.

The evening we spent at Lucan. I am really happy that I got to know so many youths after only 2 weeks. Today I am gonna watch the football match between Stuttgart and Karlsruhe. See you, Julian!
