Riding from Featherville to Custer (Gold mining) north of Sunbeam

Today (Tuesday) we packed our stuff and road after 3days unpacked riding again with all the gear, boxes, duffle bags...

It all startet nice and smoth. Going right in Featherville towards Baumgartner and Bounds. All an dirt roads. Taking a left towards Ketchum ( fancy skying village in Sun Valley). Another 40miles ( 64km) to go all Single lange forest road so. We ignored the first " road closed" sign and rode 20miles uphill. Then right after the Pass higt, there it was ICE and snow. 50m ( 60yards) long 2m 7feet high. Steep!

Ok no way around. We unpacked and startet with the lightweight Husky. Fu... we digged the back wheel in. So only way , just Hand push!

Troy steered. - I pushed like a japanese Sumo ringer. We made it. 

Arriving in Ketchum we had Lunch, fillrd up gas and food supplies. The Direction Stanley, north along the sceenery Sawtooth mountain range. 

We decided to do wilderness Camping in the Custer valley. Cluster is old Gold mining more in tomorrows Blog.
