Today we had a calm walk compared to the previous two stages. A route that went over both paved roads and country lanes.
Our first idea was to split the 25 km journey, but being the tough ones we are, we tackled it all in one day!😜
Unlike the previous stage, we encountered many villages along the way with amenities. This isn't too surprising as we are getting closer to Santiago de Compostela.
Our day ended in Sigueiro, where we took the medieval bridge that crosses the Tambre River. The rain played a big role, forcing us to change clothes multiple times and come up with creative solutions for unexpected problems...
The private hostel Camino Real treated us well with a luxury bed and a wonderful reception.
