Sunny day in the city

I started my day going to the ACMI because I decided I finally wanted to see the David Bowie Exhibition which was great btw. His beginnings, the further direction of his career and his costumes on stage. You could read so much information as he had such a big influence on other artists and singers. Incredible how many performers were influenced of him and his way of doing things and his ideas how to make an appearance. There were short parts of movies he had a role in which I personally didn't know apart from Labyrinth. The audio guide was very helpful and the way you walked through the exhibition decided about what you could hear in that moment. By the end of the tour you stood in a huge room with more costumes and screen all over with parts of concerts. Literally you were soaked in the concert atmosphere, really nice.

After those entertaining hours I decided to go on the Eureka Deck, a 88-floor-tower, basically the largest in the southern hemisphere for visitors. The elevator is on top of the deck within seconds and as this day was sunny and without any clouds, the view was spectacular. Melbourne is such a big city with all its suburbs and surroundings and very nice up there. There is even an experience called the edge where you are basically standing in a cube outside of the building. I personally just walked around and enjoyed the fantastic view.

My day ended with a walk on the Crown Promenade where you can sit, relax and watch people or the boats on the river. Canoeing is very big here and you can see them during the day working out on the Yarra River with their trainers biking along the river trying to motivate them. You can feel it's spring time over here. The temperatures are very mild and when the sun is shining it's even better and people are so enthusiastic about sports.
