Waterfalls, geysers, and fissures

With two of our luggage that has reappeared and a battle plan for today's activities, we're off! 🇮🇸

Steffi and Päpu had already planned early this morning how we could pack in as much of our missed program from yesterday as possible.

However, our first two activities were completely spontaneous…

First, we saw a large parking lot with many cars on the side of the road in Hakid. We thought - Where there are so many people, there must be something exciting to see! And tadaaaa 🎉

The second time we stopped was when we saw a sign on the side of the road; Left in 3km is Brúarfoss (Image 3&4) Sooo beautiful, this contrast between the black stone and the turquoise water!

The next destination was the famous “Golden Circle.” (Image 5&6) The Golden Circle is a geyser… A geyser is a huge fountain of water that shoots up from time to time.

The second waterfall of today was Gullfoss (Image 7&8). We took what felt like 1,000 pictures, and in the end, the sun even came out and created a rainbow. ☀️

Next, Steffi and Päpu went shopping. However, Jana's beloved Sudoku books - which had disappeared with our luggage - were nowhere to be found 😔☝️
