The last two days

Have you ever seen whales? Or dolphins? 🐋

The day before yesterday, after we could sleep in for a long time, we drove to Husavik with our camper.

In Husavik, whale watching tours are regularly offered.

First, of course, we ran to the wrong boat only for that woman to send us away after 10 minutes of waiting. 🤧

In the end, however, we found the right boat.

A woman told us various things about the whales that are native to this place over the microphone.

We actually saw several whales and even a few dolphins that swam very close to the boat. 🥹

Whenever a whale surfaced, the woman would say something like, “Oh, there is a whale on the right side!”.

That way, we always had the chance to see it.

As we neared the end, we even saw a whale feeding that came to the surface with its mouth open and splashed back down. 🤩

The whole trip lasted three hours and ended at 5 o'clock, after which we went straight to camping.

In the evening, we also saw a beautiful sunset over the sea. 🌊

Yesterday, we first drove to a waterfall called Fosshóll.
