Akureyri

Yesterday we went to Ljosavatn and fished there in the afternoon. The fish here are still very unfriendly. In the evening, we went to Camping Akureyri. Today, we went to the city for shopping and visited the surprisingly beautiful botanical garden of Akureyri under bright sunshine. Later, we hiked up the hills behind the campsite with a beautiful view of the fjord and the city.

Our time in Iceland is coming to an end, tomorrow we are heading east, as in a few days our ferry is first going to the Faroe Islands where we will stay for another week.
