Heyyy everyone…
First of all, I want to give a big thank you to everyone reading this blog! It’s a lot of fun to write this blog and I really put in a lot of effort - which is why I’m so happy for each and every one who reads this. 🫶🏼
Today, we split up.
Päpu and Jana went to *** a bath and reported that it was incredibly great and they didn't want to leave at all.
Steffi and I, on the other hand, went riding at the *** farm. We were extremely lucky because apart from me, Steffi, and the guide, no one else joined us. The ride was booked for 2.5 hours, but we were out for at least 3 hours. 🥹
She kept asking, “would you like more gallop?” and led us back and forth on extra paths where we could really speed along. 🤩
We rode along BEAUTIFUL trails and really enjoyed it!
She showed us the most beautiful spots and made stops and took photos of us at the right places, even filming us during the gallop and the tölt.🍀
Päpu and Jana then picked us up at the farm and we drove back to the campsite which was only about 10 minutes away. There, we showered and then continued on.
We made our way towards a waterfall but took a little detour to a small village first.
To be precise, calling it a “village” is a little bit of an exaggeration…
It’s more like a tiny cluster of houses, a café, and a mini-church. 😜
The houses are sooo cute with their wood, the odd walls, and the grass-covered roofs. ✨
The church was really adorable too, so small and beautiful!
The café was also in one of the houses and had a two-story terrace in addition.
On that one terrace… There lay a reindeer. 😂
No joke, right in the middle of the terrace, and the people didn’t even pay attention to it. As if that was the most normal thing in the world.
We, however, took photos, sat next to it, and could even pet it! 😁
At a jetty that led along the back edge of the village, it was said that polar foxes were living underneath, and they had just had young ones.
After a long wait and a little ham, we saw the little head of one snatching a piece of meat. 🤭
The waterfall we ended up visiting wasn’t just any waterfall, but the widest in all of Europe! 😎
