Beautiful, stinky, last day

Unfortunately, today we didn't have much time left to visit things because we (to be honest, more Steffi) still had to pack most of our stuff. ☀️

However, once that was accomplished, we headed to a volcano in the Sundhnúkur crater range.

The special thing about this volcano is that it recently erupted on July 16, 2025. 🌋

You could clearly see where the lava flowed down since it solidified right there.

On the way, Steffi and Päpu decided to check out some hot springs. I didn’t feel like it. We stayed in the camper. 🚐

They apparently stunk MEGA of rotten eggs. (This is due to the hydrogen sulfide in the air.)

Unfortunately, that's already it for my blog because tomorrow we go home. As I said, I really enjoyed it and it always made me happy to see from your comments that you were also enjoying it. 🫶🏼
