Trip to Darwin

Now the end of the sea journey is in sight. There are still a few final presentations, we will meet with beloved people and exchange addresses, and we have our passports back. Until now, our boarding pass served as a room key, as identification to go on board, and as identification on land. The ship took care of all immigration formalities and, upon request, also the visas. From Darwin onwards, we must take care of everything ourselves.

There are now two more days at sea until Darwin. Then we will have a whole day and an overnight stay on the ship. We will also go on a tour during that time. After the overnight stay, we will pick up the rental car and begin our adventure in Australia.

Häsli and Mungg have been entertained once again. Our stewardess built them a cable car because she thought they were bored.
