Zack already at the sea and the first ancient stone heaps ...

On Thursday morning, we headed south from the mountains towards Rovigo into the Po Valley, to finally reach the sea and sleep by the lagoon to experience a divine sunrise.

In between, there was a “supply station” for fresh water, and Cindy finally broke in the shower in the RV.

Space-wise it was great, but no one thought that the hot water in the RV doesn't always and automatically come from the tap, but needs to be heated in the boiler beforehand...🤪

But cold water cleans just as well, and afterwards, you feel like a real tough guy - hardened for every adventure!

Bert preferred the “hot water” option, after the boost mode heated it up properly in 30 minutes.

Fragrant, we then drove to our night stop in the lagoon of Porto Tolle, to be prepared for the radiant sunrise.

But so early in the year, in the morning when the alarm rings for the spectacular sunrise, not only do people feel heavy in bed, but unfortunately, so does the fog over the water.

Nevertheless - the sun was visible. And when the first agenda item has been devoured so superbly, you can just snooze a bit more.

Today's destination is Fano, which you reach by always driving along the coast, and 40km south of the always bustling Rimini, it lies almost forgotten.

Although it is still off-season, the ice cream parlors are open, and Bert jumped at the chance - and was sooo happy!

After that, we also stumbled upon a few ancient stones that the old Augustus had prepared for posterity back in 9 AD.

It wasn't too exciting, so we went yacht browsing at the harbor, because Bert received the news that he had won in the Euro Lotto!

Tomorrow we’ll see the odds, and then we might postpone our journey to Calabria, as you certainly don't just buy a little boat off the shelf.

Until then, we had pasta with sauce, one shouldn't go overboard right away!
