Conclusion and Farewell

Unfortunately, everything has an end, even this vacation…. 😢 The last day here in St. Pauls has arrived, and we are all a bit sad about it. I look forward to my own bed, but not so much to everyday life yet. But as little Katharina aptly pointed out: "you earn the vacation with work!" (something like that is how she expressed it!). Tomorrow morning we will leave early; later we still have to pack. Fortunately, packing for the journey home is always quick because you just throw everything into the car without having to think long about what should go with you.

After a joint breakfast, we took Daniel's car over very narrow streets, where passing oncoming traffic involves maneuvering, to a hiking parking lot above the village. From there, we strolled leisurely and enjoyed the beautiful view of the mountains. The weather is still fantastic. We were really lucky with that! 

The obligatory coffee break with Peter Paul's delicious cake cannot be missed, of course. But this really has to come to an end, otherwise, I will have to live outside forever because I won't fit through any door anymore. Restraint is sadly not an option, as I am quite lacking in willpower. 

Later, the hosts will stop by to say goodbye; they wanted to bring a Prosecco. That will be a fun afternoon! Afterwards, there will also be a dumpling trio with salad, and then I’ll look for a tent for myself…. 😬
