Small program

Unlike yesterday, today we had only a small program and a very cozy day, at least for Michael and me. After breakfast, we went shopping together because the fridge was already so empty again… I don’t know where it all goes. Although, if we had a larger mirror in the bathroom, I would see it!!!

Daniel then set off on a longer hike. First, he took the very crowded Mendel funicular with many seniors up to Penegal and from there about 10 km on a beautiful hiking path. Michael and I made ourselves comfortable in the vacation apartment, and later just walked around our village and vineyards and went to the supermarket again because we had forgotten the coffee this morning, and nothing works without coffee!

Not without cake either - Michael had picked some up in the morning, and we were able to enjoy it on the terrace. Then Daniel came back, and later we both drove into the village because he wanted to buy some wine at the winery. On Tuesday, we were not able to carry him home anymore!

In the evening, we grilled again. How good it is that we brought our wonderful Lotus Grill with us! And of course, that the weather is cooperating so well.

Now the two men are taking a short walk while I write. Soon we’ll sit together and play a round of Yahtzee and Phase Ten. Maybe I will finally win too! 😁
