Bye, bye – and see you soon!

After five and a half weeks, our autumn trip is coming to its inevitable end. Today we traveled relaxed from Mainz to Ribeauvillé, back to Alsace, where our journey began in early September. We have experienced and learned a lot of new things along the way, and once again, our horizons have been expanded...

Tomorrow we will definitely head back home. But first, we will stock up on French delicacies at the nearby Leclerc, which are not available (or only much more expensive) in the Switzerland: cheese, wine, sausage, biscuits, and a little bit more. The tank will also be refilled; fuel prices here in France are indeed high, but not quite as exorbitant as in Germany and the Netherlands.
