With exciting weather, today we're heading for the second time to Groningen. It seems that every five minutes there's a change from heavy rain to sunshine, with the dry periods fortunately far outnumbering the rainy ones. Thus, we're strolling through the city center of Groningen, catching up on everything we had to postpone on Saturday due to the big market. We want to see the Aa-Kerk from the inside, as well as the synagogue open to visitors and the picturesque houseboats on the Aa. It's impressive how many female and male students ride their bikes around the city. Accordingly, the bike park in front of the university's main building reflects this!
But the actual most important reason for our plan and the main goal of our visit is the Museum Groningen. It's an architecturally interesting new building that continues to be a topic of conversation in Groningen today. The high-profile temporary exhibitions are just as worth a visit as the internal view of the extraordinary architecture.
