From the cool mountains, we expect warm 30 degrees in Samburu National Park. And of course all sorts of animals.
Our accommodation is located directly in the park, so we were able to spot the first park inhabitants from our balcony - for example, elephants, giraffes, and ostriches.
Early in the morning and in the evening, we went on exploration tours with our guide David. Besides numerous giraffes, zebras, gazelles, and birds, we were also lucky to see a lioness with two cubs and young elephants.
We haven't seen leopards, rhinos, and hippos yet, but we still have a few opportunities in the upcoming national parks. Tomorrow we will head to Ol Pejeta.
