And the rest
Perhaps the train from Kenya doesn't really offer comfortable seats, at least not in Economy Class, but being able to see zebras,

Superb for the national parks and the Big Five. A dreamlike and expansive nature with beautiful beaches.
The season was also very good for us. With a bit of luck, there is hardly any rain or it falls at night. The long rainy season begins at the end of March/April.
March is generally considered a transitional month, and the probability of rain is higher than in other months.
During our safari, we only had rain one evening, but it didn’t bother us. The first two days on the coast were a bit rainy in the morning. However, by noon the clouds cleared and the sun came out.
For us, this transitional period was once again perfect. A big plus is that there are significantly fewer people around, making everything much more relaxed. A bit of luck always plays a part.
It's a different world, starting with the many wild animals. Still, the atmosphere often fluctuated between a bit tougher and quite relaxed, depending on the situation.
Food in Kenya can be very fine and quality or quite simple with Ugali (corn porridge). Often, it's a mix of Indian and Western cuisine, frequently fried and with a lot of oil. Still, there were a few things that I really enjoyed.
Traffic is regulated on the left. It's chaotic compared to home, but not as wild as in East Asia.
We had good experiences with Uber on the coast. For short distances, we used a TukTuk.
Poverty and crime shape the country, but the animals and nature enchant it.
The reality there hurt me a lot, and I didn’t feel 100% comfortable at times. Nevertheless, you learn to deal with some things more easily. But to get to the point, it was once again a very beautiful and impressive journey. A lovely combination of safari adventure and relaxation on one of the most beautiful coasts in Africa.
We are happy and very grateful that we had no issues, tolerated the food and malaria prophylaxis well, met lovely people, and had a very carefree time in Kenya.
In hindsight, I’m glad I took it. The idea of not getting bitten didn’t quite work for me, although there were overall few mosquitoes.
The sun is rising, we are sitting on the plane and will land in Frankfurt in an hour. Completely satisfied, well-tanned, and with beautiful and unforgettable memories of our time in Kenya.
Asante sana (Thank you)
