Georgia's Lost Places

Tskaltubo, one of the many lost places in Georgia. Once a vibrant resort for the Soviet elite. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, this grand location also fell into decay. You could spend an entire day exploring the crumbling bathhouses and abandoned sanatoriums, like this one in the photos.

However, there are also efforts to breathe new life into this place. Some buildings are being restored and repurposed. It will likely take some time before this process is completed.
