Tuscany Tour - Stop 3: Wine Tasting in Montalcino

Monday - Wine Day! Today we had a wine tasting in Montalcino in the Val d'Orcia at the winery Corte Pavone, followed by a tour of the vineyard.

In this region, among others, the incredibly expensive Brunello is grown. Unfortunately, this wine tasting was a bit too pricey for us, but we were able to taste other delicious wines from Valdifalco.

The tour was very exciting, and they spent a lot of time with us. It might have also helped that we were not there during the high season. We were also lucky that our guide mostly spoke German.
