Uplistsikhe settlement in Georgia

After a stop in Mtskheta and Gori, we spontaneously landed at a wine tasting. Feeling inspired, we immediately climbed the ancient cave city of Uplistsikhe near Kvakhvreli. What an experience! You could stroll between and on the old caves while enjoying a breathtaking view of the Kura.

The rock city dates back to the Iron Age, making it one of the oldest settlement complexes in Georgia.
