We set off for Etosha as early as 6 AM. It appeared to us as a 24,000 sq km paradise for all kinds of animals: zebras, giraffes, elephants, wildebeests, antelopes, ... By the end, we counted 17 different species today.
The whole scene conveyed an incredibly harmonious impression; all the animals came in groups to the waterholes. Everything seemed very relaxed.
This peaceful coexistence was likely due to the fact that
humans are kept at bay, either in their SUVs, which they are not allowed to leave, or in fenced-off cages with toilets, so like a zoo, but in reverse.
This paradisiacal character would surely be endorsed by all animals, if only they could write. All except the wildebeest that disappeared into the jaws of a lion, which we were able to observe up close. Kindly, the lion shared this enjoyment with his family.
We suspected it: A paradise for all cannot exist in this world.😒
