Mount Earnslaw
Perhaps the highlight of my trip to New Zealand, definitely the most beautiful thing I've seen so far. Together with Niklas, Noah, and Lennard, I tackled the Mount Earnslaw...

With TJ, we headed after another night in Queenstown towards Invercargill. There we visited the Clifton Caves, located an hour to the west. It is a 1 km long cave arch. We squeezed through rocks, under overhead walls, and between towering stone walls. It was very impressive how huge this cave was.
After about an hour, we had to pass through two water pools, one of which was at the lowest point chest-deep. So we strapped our belongings around our necks and backs and crossed the pool in our underwear. Going back was not an option. After that, we had to climb up and down three ledges until we finally saw daylight again after nearly 2 hours. In addition to the many stalactites, we could also see many glowworms.
