southernmost point, surfing, penguins, sea lions, rugby, billiards and Dunedin

From Invercargill, I initially continued alone along the southeast coast towards Dunedin. On the way to the student city, I visited the Mclean Falls, Nugget Point (great scenery), and the southernmost point of New Zealand. That morning before the drive, I had a great surf session in the sea.

Along the coast, I then went through Dunedin to the adjacent peninsula. There, I waited in the evening for penguins, which hurriedly waddled from the water across the beach into the protected dunes to sleep around 9:30 PM. The next morning, I watched sea lions on the beach and drove back to Dunedin. Around noon, Niklas and Noah arrived, and I went to eat with them at the brew house. We strolled through the city and spontaneously booked a rugby game for the evening. Highlanders (Dunedin's team) against the Blues from Auckland. The atmosphere was amazing, and we were in a fan block with all the students, the game was exciting and close, but well, it's rugby. The Highlanders ultimately won, which contributed to the atmosphere. After that, we went out to celebrate together with the students.
