From Nelson, I traveled through Blenheim to Kaikōura. In Kaikōura, I had booked a dolphin swimming tour. On the way there, I was mostly bored and focused on selling my car, which primarily took place through Facebook Marketplace.
I also realized that my journey in New Zealand was coming to an end. I reflected once again on my travels and my own development, but I will summarize everything in a separate blog post.
Upon arriving in Kaikōura, I set up my hammock and sketched the scene. After cooking myself another serving of pasta with vegetables and tomato sauce, I admired the fantastic moonrise on the beach.
The next morning, I had the great fortune of seeing dolphins directly from the beach, no more than 10 meters away from me. A major highlight!
After that, I strolled through the downtown area and did a bit of planning in the library. Unfortunately, the weather turned very bad in the afternoon/evening, and it rained the entire time. This meant that the next morning, I had bad luck and had to cancel my dolphin swimming tour due to the weather.
