Montreal Tag 1
Montreal welcomed us today with bad weather, but there's appropriate clothing and a Decathlon downtown where you can purchase it. Unfortunately, we forgot a few things this time....

The day started with - rain. So, a typical museum day.
While the men headed to the 'Centre des Sciences de Montréal', I had something else planned: I visited the 'Barbie Exhibition'!
On one hand, you could find special Barbies, like the Queen, Elvis, Jack Sparrow,... on the other hand, there were country Barbies:
But the majority of the exhibition featured Barbies dressed by real designers. YSL, Dior, and many others that I don’t even know, but were very pretty to look at. I could even recognize GAP and Calvin Klein again 😂.
Then we made a detour to the RÉSO. They have built a city under the city in Montreal! A large part of the downtown area is tunneled. In total, it boasts about 32 km of tunnels. There are ten subway stations, bus terminals, the two main train stations, plenty of restaurants and cinemas, hotels, the hockey stadium, office and residential buildings, as well as two universities all connected. You can find the post office, banks, a tailor, hairdressers, and all sorts of other shops. It's all so you don’t have to go outside in bad weather (especially in winter).
And then the weather forecast was fortunately wrong. No rain. So we could tackle the ascent of Mont Royal as planned. Over 520 steps and steep paths, we climbed 233m. There's even a summit cross 😂.
The view was truly worth it: a beautiful overview.

And on the descent, we enjoyed the sunset
Once again, we took many steps and gained beautiful, funny, amazing, and exciting insights.
