Algonquin Park

After choosing one of the various tours, we set off after a relaxing morning for a longer hike.

With a fresh 12 degrees, we started on our way.

The tour was wonderfully diverse, with lakes, ascents, and cliffs offering fantastic views, a beaver dam, and plenty of squirrels. We really enjoyed the tour.

And then came the highlight. After we all enjoyed the beautiful vistas, we heard a crackling in the forest. Cautiously, we looked closer and there stood a cow moose and her calf nibbling on young trees. As we approached to take pictures, the calf heard us and quickly jumped back into the denser forest.
