Just take it slow....
...this is the motto for the next 1-2 weeks. On Monday, Cindy and Bert arrived at the campsite in Isola di Capo Rizzuto and will practice doing “nothing”. There’s no...

...Sicily!
Since we are already in the south, and it's constantly windy, and we are completely relaxed, and all our Italian camping friends have sung its praises and given us tips, it makes perfect sense to make the quick trip. Before the relaxation turns into apathy, Cindy has put forward travel plans and Bert has fully accepted them.
The little cat was immediately adopted by another Signora who had seen it long ago and was 'sad' when it came to us. She will also take it with her when she goes home in a few weeks. 💝. There was a little bit of farewell pain, though, as the little rascal was just adorable, and Cindy is very receptive to 'everything with cats.'
We set off at 10, and by 13:30 we were already on the ferry and then over in no time, just 20 minutes, and done.
Into the supermarket - and done in a flash.
Unfortunately, Bert had drained the internet, and since we need (or want) data, Cindy had to go out and buy an Italian SIM card, I had feared this would happen...
Snap - that went just as smoothly! And great prices for prepaid cards.
You think the day couldn't get any better, but then the locals come into play: within 10 minutes of us being at the beach parking lot by the 'recreational fishermen's' hut, we already received an offer for fresh water from a Signora and extensive excursion tips from a local resident. The Aeolian Islands with Stromboli are just across the way, fantastic!
I already love the Sicilians!
Maybe there will be fresh fish right from the beach tomorrow morning?
