Nice and full: Cefalù

The rain just won't let up, so Cindy and Bert head to the campsite near Cefalù to heat things up and bring some culture back into their lives. Heating up and taking warm showers work well; there’s even supposed to be a break in the rain, so off they happily go to Cefalù.

By train, it's just a 10-minute ride from the main station, as one knows - and off they go!

Although technically, no one is a tourist, and certainly not Cindy and Bert, there are surprisingly many in the city. Well, it is quite a gem. In the background, the mountains rise ruggedly into the sky, and the alleys wind charmingly up and down like a postcard. Following the crowd, Cindy and Bert (inevitably) reach the square in front of the cathedral. This architecture is impressive even for atheists and captivates one.

The city’s pizzerias are also 😇, even if their architectural style is rather secondary.

And what happens next: heavy pouring RAIN!!! Thus, the visit comes to a sudden end before we can wander a bit off track.

But we will surely come back,
