"Does our love have a chance in the camper?" It's going to be quite the experience!

The weather is bad, the parking spot is terrible, the electric toothbrush is broken (for Cindy, that’s nearly a disaster, it's not easy with her...)

You need: Apocalyptic rainy weather with continuously draining battery, an order from the big A. with guaranteed delivery to the locker station the day after tomorrow, AFTER the order a somewhat vague time frame from A. ("by 10:00 PM" )To describe this as innocently as possible is already half the battle... Nothing brings as much expectant excitement to a (long-term) relationship as waiting together in the rain in a camper in the middle of nowhere on a busy country road in Sicily for the delivery of an order that is "guaranteed by 10:00 PM." The usual contractor appointments "between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM" are really for beginners! Before the waiting and the eventual revelation of the schedule, it's important to convey optimism as long as possible ("The pickup station will surely be served first") and to make evasive, approximate time statements ("Oh, they usually come earlier than expected, you’ll see!) You can even add a cleaning session, which is not as fruitful in the camper as it used to be in the house, but with the right commitment and enthusiasm, you can achieve a win-win effect: a clean camper and Bert is happy despite the rain about 3 hours of tense waiting without a swirling wife at the parking space across from the pickup station. This relief, this glow in his eyes when at 4:30 PM the message finally comes: Package delivered and ready for pickup! We can continue our journey and still reach the campsite in daylight because the electricity is also running low. What can I say? Love of my life , to our next adventures! That there’s another package to pick up in Palermo the next day, I won’t mention to Bert for now.
