The first time surfing

A few days ago, Lana's cousin (2nd degree?) visited the lodge with her 10-year-old daughter. They were here for 7 nights, and Lana naturally took the time to spend with them.

I talked a lot with both of them, and I must say, the cousin and her daughter are really super nice, funny, and also intelligent people. We exchanged numbers because you never know when you might meet again. If I come back to Colorado, I will definitely drop by to visit them :D

During their time here, we also did something together - we went surfing. Lana kindly invited me to the surf school session and also for the lunch afterward, which was incredibly nice of her. And I must say, the feeling of gliding over the water on a surfboard felt really special. Moreover, it went really well considering it was my first time. Overall, it was a really successful day! I definitely got the urge to go surfing again in the near future!
