Goodbye Costa Rica!

Published: 12.09.2025

Today is the day. In a few hours, I will be boarding the flight from San José to Canada and then to Germany.

Seven and a half months have passed, and these months have definitely been one of the most significant times in a long while - in every possible way. It's difficult to put so many experiences and moments into words, what they have done to you, and what feelings you have right at the end. Therefore, I won't be writing much here in my last blog post. Ultimately, I am simply one thing - GRATEFUL. I am grateful for all this time and all the people who have made it unforgettable for me. But I am also grateful for all my family and friends back home, who have always stood by me, even though fortunately there were few complications during the whole time.

But it's not just the moments when you need support; it's also the beautiful moments when you talk to each other and exchange what is happening with each other.

While I was in Costa Rica, I learned so much, laughed, lived, and simply had an incredibly valuable time for my development. However, I am now also glad to have finished with my university and to have seen more of the country so that I can now implement my further plans. I leave this country certainly with a tearful and a joyful eye. But one thing no one can take from me: the unforgettable memories that I will keep for my entire life.
