Today, we have chosen an unpleasant station, the Ho Jail. The colonial power France established this at the end of the nineteenth century to imprison dissidents. I will spare the reader many detailed photos and stories. However, one detail I found noteworthy was that the cell walls were painted black to make the surroundings even more frustrating.
On the way back, we eat our first Bánh mì, a Vietnamese sandwich, and buy two mugs as souvenirs. No dinner, just chilling on the rooftop terrace.
