6th and 7th Day

On New Year's Eve, we visit the rum distillery Trois Rivières in Sainte-Luce. Unfortunately, there is no tour available in German, and Spanish wasn't quite our thing either. So, we take a little stroll around the railing and check out the old decommissioned machines and the garden. Afterwards, we head to a very beautiful beach - Les Anses-d'Arlet - where you can see sea turtles or at least could. This beach is so far one of the prettiest I've seen. Babsi gets lucky and spots a turtle - albeit only from above - but that confirms their presence here. I also go swimming with a diving mask and snorkel and see some colorful fish. We stay until the incredibly beautiful sunset. After that, we head back to our accommodation. At midnight, fireworks light up the surroundings. We stay on the terrace enjoying cider and playing cards.

Today was a day of relaxation - we spend a day at the beach here in Saint-Anne. A bit of relaxing, and in the morning, we'll head further north.
