In Iwaki, I had a brief stop before heading to the vegetable farm. I found a delicious Taiyaki. This is waffle batter baked in the shape of a fish and filled with various things. I had red bean paste with a kind of cream cheese. I also visited a small park and shrine.
Then I went to a vegetable farm where I was allowed to help and live. It was located near the mountains and on the edge of the village. A cat also lived there with me. So, at first, I sorted a lot of onions because we had some rainy days. But there were also many other tasks, like collecting eggs, patching pipes, weeding, loading poles, cooking, cleaning, delivering vegetables... One thing I found particularly delicious was the Shiso juice, which is made from the leaves of the Shiso plant.
After two weeks, I set off on my journey again.
