In Fukushima Prefecture, I traveled to the city of Fukushima and its surroundings. On the first day, I took a tour around the city. The weather was perfect for walking, and there were many wonderful places to discover.
In the middle of Fukushima, large hills rise, offering great viewpoints of the city. Two images are exactly opposite each other when you look past the red-and-white striped tower.
I also visited a large flower garden, which didn't have much to offer at this time of year. After that, I took a short train ride to a small, nice onsen. There, I found relaxation at the end of the day.
The next day, I took the train to Nihonmatsu. There, I found a beautiful castle ruin that provided the best view, especially in such weather. You are surrounded by mountains, which is even more impressive in person than in the picture.
After that, I walked to Adachi and passed by a place that is surrounded by old stories. It was also nice there.
In the evening, I then returned to Fukushima and enjoyed the famous Enban Gyoza there.
