CROATIA (Crikvenica) Hotel Esplanada - a dream of culinary delights

In about 1 1/2 hours, one can fly from Düsseldorf to Rijeka and the transfer to the city of Crikvenica, influenced by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, takes just 15 minutes.

Starting with a carrot-orange cream

Mackerel fillet confit with red lentils and green pesto, an octopus carpaccio

Sous vide duck breast with hollandaise sauce, potatoes with horseradish cream, and sautéed cucumbers

….and the famous Tortas Franscopane, the recipe dates back to the 17th century, the raisins are soaked in rum and the cream is layered with peaches.

Breakfast is a dream, divided into various types such as Mediterranean, continental, English, healthy, and the Esplanade breakfast.

My conclusion: For a relaxing and enjoyable vacation, the Hotel Esplanada is absolutely recommendable.
