Movement is good, we thought, considering that one spends many hours in the car and always eats warm in the evening. The pools in our accommodations are so small that after just two swimming strokes we already bump our heads (yes, that is complaining at a high level😇); the Atlantic is so cold at 16 degrees that one goes in to prove one's coolness, but not to swim for meters.
Therefore, yesterday we rode fat bikes into and through the desert. We initially had great respect for these hefty wheels that lived up to their name, and for many, they were even motorized at their request.
However, riding turned out to be the greatest pleasure. It was amazing how well the bikes handled the sand. The climbs to the dunes were indeed challenging, but the views from the top of the desert and sea enchanted us. During the subsequent descents, both defensive and more offensive approaches could be observed😀.
