Civitavecchia: sunny in the morning / overcast in the afternoon 22 degrees
Today was our last shore excursion which we spent in the Italian city of Civitavecchia. We visited the most beautiful buildings and squares with the Tuk Tuk which was a lot of fun. We were able to admire the city at our own pace with its very special charm. Afterwards, we returned to the ship to pack our bags. Everything had to fit into the four suitcases, which was quite a challenge that we mastered brilliantly!!!!!!! Then, we dressed nicely and fully enjoyed our last dinner. Starting tomorrow, we will be cooking for ourselves again and we won't be able to choose from 5 starters, 6 main courses, and 6 desserts anymore. We had an unforgettable world trip that has fascinated us time and again. But we are also very grateful that we didn’t face any major health issues, even though Ernst fell ill occasionally.
We would like to thank everyone who visited our blog so regularly. We hope you enjoyed it. Tomorrow morning we will reach Genoa and then it’s off by train towards home. So see you soon......................
