Today's tour takes us to the historical sites of Palermo and Monreale. After departing from the port of Palermo, we began a bus ride through the city, which included passes by the Piazza Ruggero Settimo, the Palazzo d'Orléans from the 18th century, as well as Palermo's opera house, the Teatro Massimo, which has appeared in films and TV shows. Subsequently, the journey takes us inland to the hill town of Monreale, located on the slopes of Monte Caputo. There we visited the cathedral, famous for its rich decorations and intricate mosaics. Afterwards, we explored the vibrant market of Palermo, which offered clothes, souvenirs, but most importantly, food. We got to know a lively and friendly city.
