Arrival in Busan, South Korea, early in the morning.
Busan, located in Haeundae Bay, South Korea, with 3.2 million residents, is the second largest city on the divided peninsula of South Korea.
South Korea, a democracy since 1987 and a highly industrialized nation, surprises with some astonishing facts. For instance, in terms of religion, 31% Christian and 16% Buddhist, or the social issue of only 0.7 children per woman, or that 30 surnames make up 90% of the population, to name just a few.
Despite moderate visibility, we take a look at the city from the observatory of 'X the Sky' on the 100th floor of the 411m tall building.
We visit the famous temple on the cliffs 'Haedong-Yonggungsa' with its 108 steps leading to the pagoda, overlooking Haeundae Beach, home to the great goddess Buddha.
And then there is the historic 'Gukje International Market' that emerged during the wars and the founding of South Korea.
