We took the 10:28 KTX train back from Busan to Seoul. This train stopped at several places, so the travel time was a bit longer, but we still arrived in Seoul by 13:02.

Despite our early arrival, we were able to check into our accommodation (check-in starts from 15:00), and it was the same hotel as the first 4 days, just a different room. They also stored our large luggage properly.

After a short rest, we set out for our first planned shopping trip, targeting three stores: Olive Young, Daiso, and the Kyobo Book Centre Gwanghwamun.

Finding the bookstore was a challenge for us; we were circling around it, but somehow we couldn’t find the entrance until a young girl helped us. The bookstore is enormous, so I asked an employee for assistance, who found the location of the books we wanted to purchase, which I received on a printed map.

The shopping was successful; we could barely carry our purchases home.

Afterwards, we discussed the next day's itinerary, especially when to head to Sokcho. Since it's better to buy the ticket in advance, I used the Klokk app, and indeed, there were only 3 tickets available for the morning 7:30 route. Tickets for the round trip can be easily purchased in this app.
