When I was planning the trip, I wanted to visit one of South Korea's notable mountains, so the choice fell on Seoraksan.
To get here, we had to wake up at dawn (05:00), as our express bus to Sokcho departed at 7:30. The journey with this bus takes about 2.5 hours depending on traffic. It's advisable to buy tickets before the trip because the bus fills up quickly. I bought the tickets the night before the trip via the Klokk app (round trip). By then, only 3 seats were left on the 7:30 bus. Purchasing tickets on the app is very straightforward.
The bus departs from the Seoul Express Bus Terminal, and we reached it by subway, fortunately, we didn't get lost. The express bus is very comfortable and has ample legroom. Upon arriving in Sokcho, we had a bit of trouble finding the bus stop for the national park, but a local resident quickly showed us where to find the stop on the other side of the road.
