Here we treated ourselves to 'FlyOver Canada', after so many people had recommended it to us. So we basically watched a summary of our trip through the Rockies from above. Ultimately, you sit in a ride, similar to a freefall tower, and are swung back and forth over a curved screen. It was well done, although they cleverly fill the half hour with introductions, pre-films, etc., so the actual experience lasted no more than fifteen minutes. Still, it was longer than any roller coaster ride.
After that, we headed back to our packed suitcases and took the train to the airport. Now it was time to say goodbye and fly over Canada for the second time – over the Atlantic and Greenland to Frankfurt. Sleeping was difficult during the flight, which made it easier for us to fall asleep on the first night according to German time.
That concludes our travel blog from Canada. The VauDes experienced a lot. It was a breathtaking trip that you don't get to take every day. It will remain a significant part of our memories. Canada is definitely worth a trip (at least) once.
