Today we continued exploring the city.

BC Place Stadium and Granville Island

First, we circled around the BC Place Stadium, home of the Vancouver Whitecaps and thus of Thomas Müller. The stadium was practically right behind our hotel, and from here, the Aqua Buses and Mini-Ferries started through the Pacific Arm towards Granville Island. That was also our next destination.

Here, we headed to the Granville Island Public Market. And since we hadn't had breakfast yet, we could really try a variety of things here.

View from the Vancouver Lookout
Then we went to enjoy the view again. This time from the Vancouver Lookout. Not quite as high as the CN Tower, but the view was phenomenal. Especially the sight of the huge harbor and the colorful hustle and bustle there: cargo or cruise ships docked and departed almost every minute, helicopters and seaplanes took off and landed, and of course, there were plenty of boats of all sizes going about. After I had walked around once, I simply sat down on a chair and watched the happenings for a while.

City Stroll and Cultural Impressions
After that, we strolled a bit through the city, rummaged through secondhand clothes, checked out a Taiwanese cultural festival, and – as you would expect – had something delicious for dinner.
